Data Tables

Important reminders about the data:

  • If it is your first time visiting the site, be sure to read Working with the Data.

  • The numbers reported in this research represent the lower bound metrics of tenants displaced by the eviction process or evicted in Oregon.

    • It does not capture ‘Notices of Termination’ served to tenants that don't result in a court case.

    • Of the eviction cases that get filed at a court in Oregon, this data only includes data on eviction cases filed at a circuit court. 90% of all eviction cases were filed in a circuit court. The remaining 10% of cases were filed in a justice court. Even though we know that circuit court data alone do not provide a full picture of evictions in Oregon, they do represent the vast majority of cases filed. Therefore, we use the circuit court data to present a picture of what is happening in eviction cases statewide. Learn more on the Data Availability.

  • For additional context and data from previous years, visit the corresponding topic pages: Eviction Filings; Causes Listed on Notices of Termination, Disparity in Legal Representation; Default Judgments of Eviction; Stipulated Agreements; and Eviction Case Outcomes.

Evicted in Oregon publishes multiple datasets related to evictions in Oregon. Each dataset focuses on a specific aspect of the eviction process, and are explained in more detail on their corresponding Data By Topic pages. On this page, you can find all of the data topics we report in searchable data tables.

  • The data is available by year. Use the blue tabs at the top of the tables to toggle between years. The Most Recent tab reports the data for the most recent twelve months.

  • Each data topic is available at the statewide level and at the county level for twenty-six counties. Learn why we are unable to report county-level data for all of Oregon’s counties on the Data Availability page.

  • Download the data by clicking the Get the Data link at the bottom of each table.
